Let me speak at your event

As a speaker, poet and novelist, I bring a wealth of experience, curiosity and passion to any event. I care about bringing audiences together and bringing the topic to life.

Am I a good fit for your event?

If you’re planning an event, finding someone at ease behind the microphone who can add something of value and make member attendees feel comfortable and engaged is essential. I can do all those things.

Credibility to my public speaking experience includes Keynote Speaker, Master of Ceremonies, Workshop Moderator, and University and Public Lecturer.  I enjoyed being the radio broadcaster for Los Alamos High School Sports and the Public Address Announcer for Santa Fe, Pojoaque, Espanola, and Los Alamos, NM.

My speeches come from research and life experiences.

I am a US Armed Forces Veteran, entrepreneur, restaurant owner, and home builder. I have served as the Board Chairman for the New Mexico Instructional Materials Commission and for the Board of Occupational Therapy.

I am an educator with 20-plus years of experience as a teacher, coach, principal, and adjunct professor. I have been the Coordinator of Community Education at the University of New Mexico in Los Alamos, NM. I have a master’s degree in Educational Administration with an emphasis on at-risk youth and was awarded a Fellowship to the University of Chicago in public policy focusing on poverty and inequality.

A cause that is important to me is Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW).
